Australian Medicines Terminology (AMT) v2
Information:
The Australian Medicines Terminology (AMT) is the national terminology to identify medicines used in Australia, using unique codes to deliver unambiguous, accurate and standardized names for both branded (trade) and generic (medicinal) products.
This OID is used when exchanging AMT v2 concept identifiers in Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) documents.
Note: AMT v2 uses the Systematized Nomenclature Of MEDicine (SNOMED) Clinical Terms (CT) infrastructure, but is not fully aligned with the underlying SNOMED CT infrastructure, so it has its own OID. AMT v3 is fully aligned, and the standard SNOMED CT OID is used instead.
